December in the U.P. sees the snow starting to get deep and winter setting up for the long haul. Time to kick the dust off the snowshoes!

By March the snowpack around the UP has reached 3-4 feet deep or more in many places. By the end of this March we are already well over 200 inches here in Marquette County. Hard to believe in a month all the white stuff could be gone.
