Starting early from Paris to assume a Soissons, Noyon, Laon, Reims cathedrals visit, I stopped in many other nice places as Pierrefonds; At night I had only visited Soissons; On the road to Corsica in June 2004,we visited Sens Cathedral St Etienne.

One of the most graceful of the mediaeval set, a pure flamboyant gothic jewel: the French Kings Coronation Cathedral; Deeply damaged during world war one & now by pollution, She is still on restoration; I tried to avoid external scaffolds for a best show.

This Cistercian abbey was founded around year 1230 by the French King Louis IX, more known as Saint Louis and used as king's chidren cemetery. Monks stayed there until French revolution (1789);It is now a pleasant ramble place in the forest.
