As part of our one-month sojour in Western Turkey, we spent a few enjoyable days in Selcuk, where we wandered through the ruins of Ephesus and visited nearby Pammukale, another ruined Greco-Roman city.

In 2005 my wife, son, and I joined 5 others for a week-long gided hike through the Taurus Moutains in western Turkey. We started in Kas and ended in Fethiye, hiking along village trails by day and sleeping in homestays by night. Very satisfying.
