I selected this image as the header photo for the 2007 Best of Greece trip photo album. It was taken on Day 15 of the trip at Oia ( pronounced E-ah)a picturesque village clinging to the slopes in the northwestern part of Thira (the main island of Santorini). This image represents the characteristic classic view of the Greek islands as seen on countless guide book covers, postcards and advertising. Oia, is beautiful, exquisite small town and an ideal place for those seeking peace and quiet. Houses, paths, churches are built up skillfully on the northern part of the island. All the forementioned exists in combination with the best golden sunset in the world.
