My favorite vacation ever. The views were magnificent and ever changing. The people were gracious, friendly and informative. The arts and craftsmanship superb. Even the youngest crafters were very skilled. August 10-14, 2007.

The 20 miles of dirt road in were intimidating, but Katie's Toyota made the trip just fine. A huge storm system worried us though and we had to leave before seeing everything. The dirt became very slick when wet. Many, many, many photo opportunities here.

There was a powwow and rodea that day, with dancers and food making demonstrations at the cultural center. Venders too. A sign warned to remove nothing, nor move anything (even a rock); no pictures (don't even ask). There were more guidelines for visiting
