A short hike along the towering cliffs of the Port Orford Heads, atop a high bluff, above where the seals and whales play, up where the seagulls sore and ocean breezes blow, is my favorite place to watch a sunset. There is a commanding view there of the Kloqueth Sea Stack, the Orford Reef rocks, Cape Blanco and its lighthouse far to the north, the alternating sandy and rocky coastline, and the wide open Pacific. It just does not get any better than this! This photo is for my friend JoAnn (joannzo) and her quality photos that often reflect her engaging flair for photographic experimentation. JoAnn is every guys dream girl with her love for the outdoors, fishing, and camping, plus for that nurturing and healing spirit that nurses tend to have. I am sure JoAnn would love this spot too!
