Shades of Indiana Jones! Our first view of the pyramids. We got to go INSIDE the great one, reputed to be Cheops.' We stood in what is believed to have been the burial chamber, but there were no drawings on the walls, as there always are in Egyptian tombs. I'm more of the opinion of some later students of the pyramids, that they were used in some way connected to the constellations. Anyway, back to this picture. We finished the day by a wonderful ride across the desert near the pyramids on
