In the 1990s, Bill managed a series of projects that took him to Alameda, California in the San Francisco Bay area. During this time, Bill and Pamela enjoyed getaway vacations to Northern California and Wine Country. Bill normally stayed at the Marina Village Inn in Alameda on his business trips, and this unique hotel became the jumping-off point for our vacations.
