Argentina, Falkland Islands, Chile in February and March 2007
These islands are made of many, many layers of reed on the floating root base. The island we visited was 6 to 7 feet deep and each year they add more layers. The Island can last as many as 35 years before having to start over.
These are scenes and photos of the beautiful people of Peru.
Cuzco was one of the most interesting cities of Peru. The city was busy and bustling with the sounds of market.
Macchu Picchu was amazing to me. It is so hard to feature how the people created this city on the top of a beautiful mountain. It's beauty is breath-taking.
This is the extension to our main trip to Peru and Macchu Picchu. The people were so wonderful to be around. They have a zest for life missed by many other cultures.
These are photos of the Amazon. We spent a week with a wonderful guide, Willy. We traveled with Overseas Adventure Travel and enjoyed every minute.
