Does the Webshots Desktop software contain spyware or adware?
It does not install any tracking software on your system, or collect personal information about you and your browsing habits. Webshots software does not "spy" on other programs you run or web sites you visit. We also don't serve monitor usage or serve ads from the client software. The Webshots software does not come bundled with any third party software.

How does Webshots affect your computers?
Webshots places photos on the desktop using Windows wallpaper settings. Webshots is a standard screensaver and is activated by Windows when the computer is not in use.

How does Webshots affect your network?
Webshots only uses your network when your employee downloads an image from the Webshots website. Some users visit once a day; some once a month. There is also a negligible amount of bandwidth usage when our software checks for new photos once per day.

How does Webshots affect your employees?
Webshots users say that our photos bring color and imagination to their desktop. Some say it brings a feeling of peace. Others say it gives them energy while they work. Looking at Webshots photos is a nice break during a busy work day.

Does Webshots automatically reset browser homepages?
No, Webshots does not automatically reset browser homepages. Installation includes a checkbox that resets the user's browser to http://daily.webshots.com to make it easy for them to get new daily photos. During installation, users may deselect this checkbox if they wish to keep their existing browser homepage.
