Webshots: 15 Years of Daily Inspiration Share This Page
Webshots is celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year, and we have our loyal, long-time members to thank!
For this momentous occasion, we’re looking back at where we started, and more importantly, we’re looking ahead to our future.
Webshots was started by an avid rock climber and his wife who traveled the world, exploring its highest peaks. Along their journeys, they were inspired by the photographers who captured the beauty of nature, and they wanted to share those amazing pictures with everyone. Originally, Webshots started as CDs of inspiring images that brought the outdoors “in” for all to enjoy. The concept went online a few years later, where it grew into an international community of photo enthusiasts who share through pictures their adventures from around the world.
Today, Webshots is a source of daily inspiration and expression through the art of photography. Its community of member and professional photographers share their adventures and are recognized by millions. Budding aficionados grow with encouragement as they learn about photography and meet new friends. Dreamers worldwide explore the world through pictures and connect to life’s bigger story: Celebrate the moments!
