Serendipity #16: Chris Anderson

We recently welcomed Chris Anderson to Serendipity Series #16. An accomplished author (most recent publication, Makers: The New Industrial Revolution) and entrepreneur, Chris is the former editor-in-chief of Wired magazine and was a tech and business editor with The Economist for several years. He talked about flying cameras, the benefits of running a business in Mexico, the democratization of manufacturing and why 3D printers will change our lives. Mostly he spoke about his current passion, a community / social network called DIY Drones, where people around the world share info on drones, and its sister company based in Tijuana, 3D Robotics. After the talk, we were treated to a flying Drone demo outside in the parking lot!
