Download the free version of Webshots.

1. Open your Windows Explorer.
2. Copy your Webshots collections folder to your Desktop.
3. Uninstall Webshots Desktop.
4. Empty your Recycle Bin.
5. Download a new sampler.
6. Save the file to your desktop.
7. Click on the exe file and install Webshots.
8. During the installation of Webshots, change the directory to the hard drive with more available space. (Click the Browse button, change path.)
9. After the installation, open the Collections folder that is located on your Desktop.
10. Copy the contents of the Collections folder and Paste them inside the Collections folder that was created on the other hard drive.

The Collections folder is usually located on your main hard drive. To find your Collections folder:

1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. Click on your hard drive.
3. Double click on the Program Files folder.
4. Double click on the Webshots folder. Your Collections folder is located inside your Webshots folder.
5. Once you have your new computer, download the Webshots Desktop.
6. Save the download to your desktop. 
7. Double click on the installation file.
8. Copy the contents of your old Collections folder to your new Collections folder.

1. Click on the Start menu.
2. Select Programs.
3. Select Webshots Desktop.
4. Click on Webshots Desktop Uninstall.

OR

1. Click on your Start menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click on Control Panel.
4. Double click on Add/Remove Programs.
5. Click on Webshots
6. Click on the Change/Remove button.

1. Open your Webshots software.
2. Click on the Settings button
3. Click on the Screen Saver tab.
4. Uncheck the box next to Use Webshots As Screen Saver.
5. Click on the Wallpaper tab
6. Uncheck the box next to Use Webshots Wallpaper on Desktop.
7. Click OK.

On the computer that has Internet access, download a Webshots software update installation file and save it to a floppy disk.

1. Open your Webshots software.
2. Click on the Collections button.
3. Select Make New.
4. Type in your new collection name.
5. Click OK. That title should now appear on your list of collections.
6. Click on the collection title that you would like to take the image from.
7. Click on the image of your choice, drag it onto your new collection title and release. That picture will now appear in your new collection.

1. Right click on your desktop.
2. Select Properties.
3. Click on the Settings tab.
4. The Colors settings may be set at 16 colors. Set it to at least High Color (16 bit).The higher you set the color, the better the pictures will display.

1. Open your Webshots software.
2. Click on the Collections button.
3. Select Make New.
4. Type in your new collection name. That title will now appear in the list on the left hand side.
5. Click on the Photos button.
6. Select Add New.
7. Locate and add your images one at a time. These images will appear in your new collection title.

To disable collections so that they no longer show as your wallpaper and screen saver, remove the check mark in the box next to the collection title.

1. Go to the Gallery section.
2. Choose a page of photos you would like to download.
3. Next to the Download this page of photos link, click on Regular or High Quality. The high quality downloads are the highest resolution we have available.
4. The page of photos will automatically install to your Webshots Desktop software.

1. Open the Webshots Desktop software.
2. Click on the photo you want to delete.
3. RIGHT mouse click on the photo.
4. Select Delete.
5. Click OK.

They are all specially encoded to protect the copyright privileges of our professional photographers. Webshots images can only be used within the Webshots Desktop software.

1. Open your Webshots software.
2. Click on the collection title containing the image you would like to move.
3. Click on the image and drag it into the collection you would like it to be in.
4. Make sure that there is a check in the box next to the collections that you would like to run.
5. Right click on the empty collection.
6. Select Delete.

1. Open your Webshots Desktop software.
2. Click on the Collection title that contains the images you wish to export.
3. Click on the Collections button.
4. Choose Export Photos.
5. Click Yes.

1. Open the Webshots Desktop software.
2. Click on the Settings button.
3. Click on the Tray tab.
4. Check the box next to Place Webshots on my task bar tray.

1. Open your Webshots Desktop software.
2. Click on the Settings button.
3. Click on the Wallpaper tab.
4. Change Automatically Cycle Wallpaper Every to desired setting.
5. Click OK.

1. Open the Webshots Desktop software.
2. Click on the Settings button.
3. Click on the Wallpaper tab.
4. Uncheck the box next to Use Webshots as Wallpaper.
5. Pull down the menu next to Automatically Cycle Wallpaper Every and select Never.
6. Click on the Downloads tab.
7. Uncheck the box next to Set Downloads As Wallpaper.
8. Click OK.

1. Open the Webshots Desktop software.
2. Click on the Settings button.
3. Click on the Screen Saver tab.
4. Uncheck the the box next to Use Webshots as Screensaver.
5. Click OK.

1. Open your Webshots software.
2. Click on the Settings button. 
3. Click on the Downloads tab.
4. Uncheck the option for Flash new photo reminder at.

1. Open your Webshots Desktop software.
2. Click on the Settings button.
3. Click on the Calendar tab.
4. Check the box next to Display Calendar on Desktop Wallpaper.
5. Click OK.

If you are logged in to your Webshots account, your Webshots Desktop software may be stuck in a loop. The easiest solution is to reboot your computer or end task on the multiple copies of Webshots that are running.

To avoid this from happening again, wait a couple of minutes between downloading each image. This will allow each image to process correctly.

The solution is to reinstall the Webshots Desktop software.

1. Open your Windows Explorer program.
2. Click on your C: hard drive.
3. Click on your Program Files folder.
4. Click on your Webshots folder.
5. Save your Collections folder to your desktop.
6. Delete your Webshots folder.
7. Download Webshots.
8. Save the file to your desktop.
9. Double click on the file to install Webshots.
10. Follow the installation instructions.
11. After the installation is complete, copy your old Collections into your new Collections folder.

1. Open your Webshots Desktop software.
2. Click on the blue Settings button.
3. Click on the Tray tab.
4. Check the box next to Place Webshots on my task bar tray.
5. Click on the Downloads tab.
6. Check the box next to Flash photo reminder camera at...
7. Click OK.

1. Open your Webshots software.
2. Click on the Settings button.
3. Click on the Effects tab.
4. Uncheck all of the effect boxes.
5. Click OK.

1. Go back into the Settings.
2. Click on the Wallpaper tab.
3. Set the Cycle Every option to Never.

1. Right click on the Desktop.
2. Select Properties.
3. Click on the Settings tab.
4. Change the Color to at least High Color (16 bit).
5. Click OK.
6. You may need to restart the computer so that the settings take place.

1. Go to your Start menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click on Control Panel.
4. Double click on Display.
5. Click on the Screen Saver tab.
6. At the bottom of this Window is a section on Energy Saving features. Click the Advanced button.
7. Change the setting for Turn Monitor off: to Never.
8. Click OK.

1. Open your Webshots software and click Collections
2. Select Compress All…
3. Click Yes to compress your Collection files

1. Go to My Computer > C: Drive > Program Files > Webshots
2. Save your Collections folder by right clicking on it and then left click on Copy
3. Right click on your Desktop and then left click on Paste to backup your Collections folder
4. Click on Start > Programs > Webshots Desktop! > Uninstall Webshots Desktop
5. Reboot your computer
6. Download a new Webshots sampler
7. Install Webshots Desktop by double clicking on the file you downloaded
8. Copy the CONTENTS of your old Collections folder to the new Collections folder

1. Double click on My Computer > C: > Program Files > Webshots > Collections.
2. Right click on a wbc file and then left click on properties.
3. Uncheck the box next to read only and click OK.
4. Repeat to each Collection file.
