If you would like to become a Webshots Free member, just sign up with a valid email address.
As a Webshots Free member, you can:
- Upload photos and monitor the number of views and downloads they get each week.
- Manage contacts in your address book.
- Receive a weekly email newsletter with all the Daily photos of the week.
- Leave messages in Community photo albums.

- How do I change my member name?
We do not have an option to change your member name at this time. If you would like to use a new member name, you can sign up for a new account.

- How do I sign in to my Webshots Free account?
When visiting the Webshots site, just click on the Sign in button on the top right of your screen. Now you can enjoy your own photos by clicking on My Photos, or surf Webshots for photos to download into your Webshots Desktop.
When you sign up for a account with Webshots, a cookie is set in your browser. If you sign out of your account, or you have your browser set to delete your cookies after a certain period of time, our site will require you to login again. Also, make sure that you have your browser set to accept ALL cookies.

- I forgot my member name (username) and password. Where can I get this information?
Go to our lost account information page to have your password and member name emailed to you. Your account information will only be sent to the same email address that is listed in your User Info page.

- I tried to download a photo, but it said Premium Only and it wouldn't let me download. Why?
Some Webshots Pro shots photos are only available to download by Webshots Premium members. To download photos with the Premium Only symbol on the top, you will need to upgrade your account. However, you may still send Photo eCards and buy poster-sized prints and gifts of all Pro shots images.

- How do I cancel my free membership?
We cannot delete member names once they are created, but you can remove Webshots from your computer, unsubscribe from our mailing lists and remove your personal information from your account.
To uninstall Webshots:
- Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
- Double click Add or Remove Programs.
- Select Webshots Desktop.
- Click Change/Remove.
If you have uploaded photos to the Community section of Webshots, delete them by going to the My shots tab. Click an album title then choose the Delete Album link. Repeat for each album you’ve created.
To unsubscribe from Webshots Weekly, click the My Account link in the upper right hand corner (If you can not find My Account, you’ll need to sign in by clicking on the sign in link.). Uncheck the box next to Send me ‘Webshots Weekly’ emails. Personal information may also be modified.
To sign out of Webshots, click on the sign out link at the top of the page.

- How many photos can I download as a free member?
You can download 5 photos every 24 hours.Depending on the time you downloaded 5 images on the previous day, you may need to wait a full 24 hours before downloading again. Also, the 5 photo limit applies for each user name so if you are using your Webshots account on another computer or if someone else is using your user name to access Webshots, your account may have already reached the 5 photo limit. Please try again in at least 24 hours.
