- What is PayPal?
PayPal enables its members to make purchases online without supplying their payment information each time. Members of PayPal can add money to their accounts with MoneyPak or they can link their credit or debit card to their PayPal account. For information on PayPal, please go to www.paypal.com

- How do I cancel my Free Webshots Membership?
Please follow these directions to close your Free Membership on Webshots. You can remove Webshots from your computer, unsubscribe from our mailing lists, and remove your personal information from your account. Please note that we cannot delete member names once they are created.
To uninstall Webshots: 1. Open your Control Panel. 2. Double click Add or Remove Programs. For Vista, please select Programs and Features. For Windows 7, select Programs and Uninstall a Program. 3. Select Webshots Desktop. 4. Click Change/Remove for Windows XP. For Vista and Windows 7, select Uninstall.
To access your Webshots membership, please go to our website at http://www.webshots.com by typing this URL into the address bar at the top of your browser window. Click on 'log in' on the top, right side of the site. If you aren't able to sign in to your membership, please send an email to lostpassword@webshots.com. Please include your member name, if possible, and birth date for account verification purposes.
Once you are signed in, please remove any photos you have uploaded to Webshots. Be sure you have copies of these photos elsewhere before deleting. To access your albums, place the cursor over my shots and select albums from the dropdown menu. Click on the album thumbnail to display the photos. To save a photo as a jpg file, click on the photo that you would like to save, and then click 'Full size' from the edit screen. Now, right click on the photo and select 'Save Picture As...' Remember where you save the photo so you can find it later. Delete your photos by clicking on an album and then selecting 'delete' from the menu of options to the right of the photos.
To unsubscribe from Webshots newsletters, go to my shots and then select account. Select newsletters. Uncheck the boxes next to our newsletters. Click apply changes. Repeat this process for alerts.
Finally, you can change all of your personal information and password under the membership option under account. To sign out of Webshots, click on the 'sign out' link at the top of the page.

- Why did I receive a message saying I had reached the limit of 1,000 photos?
Free members are limited to uploading 1,000 photos to their albums on Webshots. Webshots Premium members can store up to 5,000 photos. After joining, the number of photos that can be uploaded is increased by 100 and 500, respectively, for each month of membership. Please consider upgrading your account to Premium. Nothing will happen to the photos you've already uploaded to Webshots. Please follow the instructions below to upgrade your membership to Premium. - Go to www.webshots.com and sign into your account.
- Select 'my shots' and 'account.'
- Beneath membership status, click 'Start your Premium membership!'
- Finish filling in the information to process your request.

- How many photos can I download as a free member?
For professional photos, you can download one regular-sized (800x600) photo every 24 hours. Depending on the time that you downloaded your one image on the previous day, you may need to wait a full 24 hours before downloading again. Also, the one-photo limit applies for each member name, so if you are using your Webshots account on another computer or if someone else is using your member name to access Webshots, your account may have already reached the one-photo limit. For member photos, you can download an unlimited amount every day.

- What will happen to photos I have on my Free Membership if I upgrade to Webshots Premium?
When you upgrade from a Webshots free account to a Webshots Premium account, all of your uploaded images and videos will remain intact. However, the storage capacity will be expanded from 1,000 to 5,000 photos and from 100 to 500 videos. Plus, you'll be able to store an extra 500 photos and 50 videos for each month of your Premium membership.

Regular Webshots images are 800 x 600 pixels and are approximately 120k - 130k. Our High Resolution images are 1600 x 1200 pixels, and range from 300k - 800k per image.

- Can I try out the Webshots membership before paying the membership fee?
Yes, Webshots' free membership lets you download and install the Webshots Desktop Application, which is needed to download photos from Webshots. But as a free member, you'll be able to download only one regular-sized (800x600) professional photo a day, and you won't get access to exclusive Premium photos or be able to download photos in high-resolution or widescreen. Plus, as a free member, you will see advertisements and your personal photo storage limit is 1,000 photos.

- How do I update my email address?
To update your Webshots account information, you must be signed in to your Webshots membership at www.webshots.com. After you are signed in, go to the 'my shots' link at the top of our website. Select the 'account' tab. Now, you can edit your email address, name, password, payment information and birthday. Click the 'apply changes' button to save any changes you make.

- How do I sign up for a Webshots Premium membership?
If you already have a Webshots Free membership, make sure you're signed in to your account. Go to 'My Shots' and select the 'account' tab. Click the 'Start your Premium membership' link to sign up. If you don't have a Webshots Free membership, click on the sign up link at the top of our website, select the 'Yes! I want Webshots Premium today!' button. Complete the registration form, and click the 'continue' button. Welcome to Webshots!
