- What will happen to my Community photos if I upgrade to Webshots Premium?
When you upgrade from a Webshots free account to a Webshots Premium account, all of your uploaded images and videos will remain intact. However, the storage capacity will be expanded from 1,000 to 5,000 photos and from 100 to 500 videos. Plus, you'll be able to store an extra 500 photos and 50 videos for each month of your Premium membership.

- How much more space do the high-resolution pictures take up?
Regular Webshots images are 800x600 pixels and are approximately 120k – 130k. Our High Quality images are 1600x1200 pixels, and range from 300k – 800k per image.

- Can I try out the Webshots free service?
Yes. Webshots offers a free membership service too. You can download and install the Webshots Desktop without paying, but as a free member you will only get access to a limited number of daily downloads, no exclusive Gallery photos, no high-resolution downloads, surfing with ads, and a personal photo storage limit of 1,000 photos.

- Why did I receive a message saying I had reached the limit of 1,000 photos?
Free members are limited to 1,000 photos. Webshots Premium members can store up to 5,000 photos. Get more information about upgrading your account. Nothing will happen to the photos you've already uploaded to Webshots.

- How many photos can I download as a free member?
For Pro Shots, you can download five photos every 24 hours. Depending on the time that you downloaded your five images on the previous day, you may need to wait a full 24 hours before downloading again. Also, the five-photo limit applies for each member name, so if you are using your Webshots account on another computer or if someone else is using your member name to access Webshots, your account may have already reached the five-photo limit. For Community photos, you can download an unlimited amount every day.

- What's wrong with my statistics email?

- Why am I missing albums or photos?
This is not affecting all members, but if you have noticed that some of the photos within your albums are missing, or a recently uploaded album is not showing up please do NOT try to edit your album, we’ll be able to bring back those photos and albums a lot sooner if members aren’t changing them at the same time. We’re actively working on this, so please be patience while we resolve this technical glitch. - Can I mail you a photo to create a print or gift?
You can only create prints or gifts using the photos in your Webshots albums. If your photos are not yet in digital format, you can scan them and create digital photo files (jpeg format is recommended). Using the Webshots Desktop 2.5 software, you can upload the digital photo files to your account and create your photo gift(s).
Note: most gifts require a photo with a minimum resolution of 640x480 pixels.

To download photos with the "Premium Only" symbol on them, you have to be a Webshots Premium member. Click here to easily upgrade your account to Premium. Or if you are a Premium member you need to log in to access this capability.

- How do I get my Premium features to show up?
If you have both a free and a Premium account, please make sure that you are logged in to your Premium account. If you can't remember your member name (username) or password, please visit the lost password page.

- What?s my username and/or password?
Please click log in and then click Forgot your member name or password, enter the email address associated with your account to have a list all your accounts be visible. Click the username and an email will be sent to you with a link to reset your password. Your account information will only be sent to the same email address that is listed in your Account page.
If necessary, you can sign up for another account.

- What methods of payment do you accept?
Webshots accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover as payment methods for a Premium membership. We can process your order only if you use one of these credit cards, or if you use a bankcard that has a Visa or MasterCard logo on it. If you do not have access to one of these cards, you can still enjoy the Webshots free membership.

- How do I update my email address?
To update any of your Webshots account information, you must first be signed in. Once signed in, go to My Account, enter your new email address and click ""apply changes"" to save your changes.

If you already have a Webshots free membership, make sure you're signed in to your account, then go to your My Account page. Click the ""Start your Premium membership"" link to sign up. If you don't have a Webshots free membership, go to the sign up page, complete the registration form, and click the ""join now"" button under the Premium section.

- How do I sign into my Webshots Premium account?
When visiting the Webshots site, just click on the Sign in button on the top right of your screen to access your Premium Membership. When you sign up for an account with Webshots, a cookie is set in your browser. If you log out of your account, or you have your browser set to delete your cookies after a certain period of time, our site will require you to login again. Also, make sure that you have your browser set to accept ALL cookies.
